I really don’t want to bore you with a bunch of biographical lorem ipsum. I guess an about-me page is probably supposed to read like a résumé or an amazing highlight reel, but that just doesn’t interest me.

I’ve been a Christian for about twenty-five years, and in ministry for twenty. I’ve been a small-church pastor, a worship leader, and a failed church planter.  I’m a twice-married father of two who’s still struggling to figure out what he’s doing.

All of that to say, I’ve grown more in my failures than I have in my successes—and I’ve learned more from my questions than I have from my answers. So, if you’re looking for someone to tell you how to live a “victorious Christian life,” I’m probably not your guy. But if you want a traveling companion who thinks that Christian maturity might be a continuous stumble into grace, you’ve come to the right place.

When I’m not hanging out here, I’m the content strategist for the amazing Overthink Group and write for MinistryAdvice.com.
